WATCH UR BAC Program

 

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agency came to McCallum on Monday, September 29 at 7 pm, in the cafeteria and presented Watch UR BAC to parents and students. 

 

SCOPE:  The program provides information about underage drinking laws, social hosting laws and trends in alcohol as well as information about other drugs. 

 

GOAL: To provide parents the latest in information about alcohol and other drugs and how it affects them and their teen(s). In addition, we aim to offer the latest trends in alcohol consumption and other drugs and some potential effects.

 

FOCUS: The main focus is to inform parents, school personnel and/or other community members about the laws and potential penalties of underage drinking. Also recent trends with alcohol and other drugs will be presented.
